Add a few pieces of fruit, berries or edible flower to jazz it up.
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon and orange juice (about 1 large lemon and 1 orange)
- 3 cups coconut water - buy it here
- 2 Tbsp collagen hydrolysate - buy it here
- 2 tsp quality maple syrup or raw honey
- Heat the citrus juice slightly, not to boiling, but warm enough to be able to dissolve the collagen.
- Add the collagen and maple syrup/honey and stir until everything is well mixed.
- Remove from heat and stir in the coconut water.
- Pour either into a lolly mould or ice trays
- Freeze until solid
If you can't get hold of collagen, simply leave it out, it does not change the taste of the lollies just boosts the nutritional value.
